Mildenhall Stadium plays host to what many consider some of the finest stockcar and banger racing in the country.
The 280 yard banked shale track is presently one of, if not the, most popular race track and almost every race meeting attracts well over 100 different race drivers and hundreds and thousands of fans from across the country to enjoy the action.
Race meetings are traditionally Saturday nights (roughly once a fortnight) between March and October with a handful of Sunday afternoon fixtures during the winter period.
Events are staged by promotions RDC Promotions who truly believe the short oval motor racing action at Mildenhall has something for everyone.
For fans of destruction, carnage and the ultimate in on track road rage you cannot fail to enjoy the banger racing. Banger meetings at Mildenhall are currently attracting some of the best turnouts of cars in the country and events range from Mini and Metro racing to unlimited van bangers and everything in between.
There are many highlights during the season. The 1400cc Banger Suffolk Open Team Championship has become the biggest banger event in the sport, the pre 70 classic car night is a must see for fans of rare and vintage cars as is the unlimited Suffolk Open Championship while the British and Supreme Championships see some of the biggest names in the sport in action for championship glory. And then there is the end of season caravan race and destruction derby-truly the ultimate in on track road rage.
But it isn't just the banger racing which provides great entertainment at Mildenhall Stadium.
The raceway is famous for its incredible Reliant Robin racing where the dare devils on three wheels provide entertainment, the like of which no other racing formula is capable of providing.
And for traditional stockcar racing you don't have to look any further than the BriSCA F2 Stockcars, Saloon Stockcars and Ministox racing which regular competes at the track providing full contact, full speed motor racing.
